Mary Ellen Ross, age
91, of Hughes, OK entered her heavenly home on March 4, 2019. Mary was the third of six children, born on
August 1, 1927 to Emmett & Lula May (Harris) Warren. She married Lonnie Ross in May of 1946. Mary worked at the Latimer County Hospital
for over 30 years, in pharmacy, emergency rooms and helping deliver many
babies. She was preceded in death by her
husband; son, Lonnie Mack Ross & great grandson, Tye Lyons; brother, Johnny
Warren; sisters Jessie Thomas & Nadine Carpenter.
She is survived by her one daughter, Sharon Branscum of
Hughes, OK, daughter in law, Peggy Ross of Fanshawe, OK; four
grandchildren, Mary Ann Akers & Doyal Akers of Fanshawe, Michelle &
Steven Powell of Red Oak, OK, Gina & John Stephens of Stuart, OK, Shawna & John Herrington of
Fanshawe; seven great grandchildren, Anthony Borden of Hughes, OK, Kolter &
Jessie Borden of Panama, OK, Audra & Justin Byous of Hughes, OK, Breanna
& Jared Shadwick of Heavener, OK
Rebekkah Qualls of Poteau, OK, Carlie Powell of Red Oak, OK, Rylee
Stephens of Stuart, OK; four great great grandchildren, Jaedon & Jedidiah
Byous, Khyleigh Borden, Jaylee Shadwick;
sisters, Betty Jo & husband Clyde McAlester of LeFlore, OK, Lola Davidson of
Aumsville, OR; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, March 7, 2019
LeFlore Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Steven Powell, Anthony
Borden, Kolter Borden, Doyal Akers,
Justin Byous, Casey Warren.
The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from
6-8 pm to visit with family and friends.
