Virginia Lou Sanders, 78, of Monroe, OK passed away Wednesday, December
26, 2018 in Ft. Smith, AR. Virginia was
born February 6, 1940, in Fouke, AR to Lloyd & Bessie (Jones) Keeney. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4
brothers; her stepdad, Loyd Green; grandson, Daniel Childress.
Survivors include her husband, John of
the home; 4 daughters, Leona Faye Johnson of Norman, OK, Susan Kay Placke of
Monroe, OK, Suzanna Kaye & Rusty Frizzell of Howe, OK, Evie & Roger
Lampkin of Monroe, OK; 4 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; sister, Linda
Smith of Monroe, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Trinity
Baptist Church, Poteau with Rev. LeRoy Billy officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests
donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriner’s Hospital.
