Homer Albert Walls, 90, of
Poteau, OK passed away Friday, March 16, 2018, in Poteau. Homer was born March 22, 1927, in Keota, OK
to Jim & Easter (Thompson) Walls. He
worked at Ft. Smith Table & Furniture.
Homer was a veteran of the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois Potter Walls; sons,
Homer Ray & Jimmy Lee; great granddaughter, Brittany Gatt; brothers, J.C. &
Sidney Walls; sisters, Mattie Walls White and Betty Jean Walls McDonald.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Walls & Bruce
Blaylock of Poteau; sisters, Wanda Mae Walls Weaver of Broken Arrow, OK &
Aline Cody of Cameron, OK; grandchildren, Jimmy & Jean Walls Jr. of Dalton, GA, Nina & David Gatt of Cartersville, GA & Kelly
Burrough of Poteau; great grandchildren, Brandon Walls, Jimmy Walls III,
Jessica Goodman, Bailey & Cody Burrough; great great grandchildren, Leland,
Jonathan, Jack & Tristan; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved
ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Evans
Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery,
Cameron. Pallbearers will be Troy
Halpain, Charlie Potter, Billy Perkins, Eugene Tucker, Perry Babb, Brandon
Pass, Leon McDonald & Greg Allison.
The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening
from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
