Chesteen Brown, 73, of
Panama, OK passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Oklahoma City,
OK. Chesteen was born February 28, 1943
in Panama, OK to James P. & Cordelia (Scarberry) Brown. He served in the US Army and the California
National Guard for 8 years. He was
retired as grounds keeper for the city
of Hayward, CA. He married Carol Loyle
on May 20, 1960 in Reno, NV. As a young
man he always loved to play sports and continued to enjoy them as a spectator
in his later years. He enjoyed water
skiing; taking his family camping on the rivers in California. He read the entire newspaper every day as
well as watching the news and weather.
He could tell you all about
sports, weather and world news if you asked. He was always well informed. He taught some of his grandchildren about
fishing, playing ball, working on cars, building and much more. He was always helpful. He took care of his family and he will be
truly missed. If you ever told him a
secret - he never revealed it. You can
guarantee he still holds it. Chesteen
