Bob D. Erwin, 63 of Pocola,
OK passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 in Fort Smith, AR. Bob was
born January 21, 1953 in Lone Oak, OK to Edward William & Gladys
Velma (Richardson) Erwin. Bob was a pipeliner. He was a loving father, grandfather, devoted
husband and man of faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3
sisters, Emogene Wilson, Juanita Erwin, Frieda Creighton; 2 brothers, Leon
& Raymond Erwin.
Survivors include his wife
Karen of the home; daughter & son in law, Crissy & Brookin Stephens of
Spiro, OK; son & daughter in law, Robby & Stephanie Erwin of Spring,
TX; 5 grandchildren, Brayden, Emma, Samuel, Grayson & Judge; 4 sisters,
Betty Sue Spencer of Tulsa, OK, Edwina Osburn of Sallisaw, Patsy June Whitlock
& Christeen Erwin of Pocola, OK; 5 brothers, Shelby Erwin of Pocola, Joe
Erwin of Arkoma, Ned Erwin of Sallisaw, Ray Erwin of Pocola, Charles Erwin of
Alma, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Assembly of God Church in Pocola, OK with Rev.
Doug Jackson & Rev. Danny Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery,
Pocola. Pallbearers will be James
Anderson, Tony Bruton, Tommy Tuck, Gary Myers, Richard Craighead, Brayden
Erwin, Donny Lairamore, Troy Marshall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar Crain, Bob Cowan, Kenny Pipkins and
Ronnie Smith.
The family will be at the
funeral home in Pocola on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
