Arma Jones, 89, of LeFlore,
OK passed away Friday, March 4,2016 in LeFlore, OK. Arma was born June 21, 1926 in Kinta, OK
(Beaver Mountain) to James & Midlew (Sandlin. She was retired head of maids at Skyline
Country Club. She was preceded in death
by her parents; her husband, Wilbern Lee Jones on 4/4/2009; daughter, Sandra Cobb; four sisters, Wilma Sandlin, Ruby Brown, Lute
West, Velma Freeman.
Survivors include his son,
James R. Jones & wife Pamela of Mammoth, AZ; Granddaughters, Deanna Fode of
Mammoth, AZ, Annette & Denver Turner, Janet & John White of Poteau, OK;
grandsons, Robert Lee Jones & wife Cecy of San Manuel, AZ, Johnny Lee Cobb
& wife Rose of Sandy Spring, NV; 16 great grandchildren; 30 great great
grandchildren; other relatives, loved
ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Evans Chapel
of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim
Cook officiating. Interment will follow
in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK.
Pallbearers will be Harvey Walden, Keith McAlester, Frank Reddin, Jim
Waits, Sam Engle and Jodi Davis.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Wednesday, March 9, 2016
from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
