Charles S. Cunningham Jr.,
68, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Poteau. Chuck was born in Poteau to Charles Stewart
Sr. & Cecilrae (Frazier) Cunningham
Sr. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Dr. & Mrs. Cunningham. He
loved music, history, science and learning.
He was a drummer in the early 60's and until late in his life. He pet project was restoring the old Library
building.
Survivors include his son,
Alex Cunningham of Poteau, OK; sister, Carol Cunningham; nephew & niece,
Stephen Steighner and Susan White; cousins, Ann Cunningham Wickstrom, Tammy
Asbaugh, Terry Holmes, Cheryl McAnally; other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends. Please make donations to the
charity of your choice.

To Carol and Chuck's Family:
I wanted to let you know how sad I was to learn of Chuck's passing. We attended church together, graduated from PHS together in 1965 and headed to OU together. I have many fond memories of Chuck, especially in band. Our birthdays were a week apart, and I tried to call him each year on his birthday. While I was sad he didn't make our 50th high school reunion last spring, I was happy I got to see him the year before. RIF, Chuck!
