Phyllis Sue Newnam, 64, of Poteau, OK
passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 in Poteau.
Sue was born July 17, 1949 in Poteau,
OK to Odie T. & Wanda
(Clemmings) Slone. She was a
homemaker. Sue was a member of the Bethel Baptist
Church in Wister, OK. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother
& sister. She was preceded in death
by her parents.
Survivors include her
husband Bill of the home; son, Mike; daughter, Missy all of Poteau;
grandchildren, Derick, Blake, Jacob, Will, Jordan; a host of great
grandchildren; sisters, Linda Marsh & Gail Webb; brothers, Otis Slone &
Larry Slone; other relatives, loved ones & friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Clyde Steelman officiating.
Interment will be in Oakland
Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Daryl Wood, Craig Clark,
Scotty Jones, Todd Peters, Blake Tackett, Shawn Hughes.
