Grace R. Huss, 91, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Poteau. Grace was born October 19, 1922 in Williams, OK to Martin L. & Frances A. (Moore) Stankewitz. Grace was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Grace was a provider for DHS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garthur Dorsey Huss on April 5, 1998, 3 sisters & 3 brothers.
Survivors include her daughters Judith Kuechenmeister & husband Dale of
Poteau, OK, June Huss of Poteau, OK; 4 grandchildren, Lori Johnson &
husband Eddie of Whitesboro, TX, Amy Weldon & husband Duane of Poteau, OK,
Joel Dodson & wife Brandy of Ft. Smith, AR, Piper Dodson of Tulsa, OK; great
grandchildren, Scott Johnson & wife Sarah, Kevin Johnson, Bryce Weldon,
Tate Weldon, Brianna Dodson & Aiden Dodson; brothers, Robert Stankewitz of
Panama, OK, Vernon Stankewitz of El Cajon, CA; sister in law, Mildred
Stankewitz of Spiro, OK; other relatives, loved ones & friends.Services will be 10 am Monday, July 7, 2014 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion with Pete Philippi officiating. Interment will follow.
