Jerry Edward
Thompson, 68, of Cameron, OK passed away
Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Cameron after fighting a courageous battle with
cancer. Jerry was born August 26, 1944
in Poteau, OK to Richard & Annie Velma (Gullick) Thompson. He worked for the local cable company for 42+
years. After retiring he worked for
Gentry Ranch. Jerry was preceded in
death by his parents; brothers, AJ, RC, Bud, and Wayne Thompson; sister, Amanda
Thompson; mother in law, Sylvia Heavener Brown.
Survivors include
his wife, Gaye of the home; sons, Keith Thompson of Pocola, OK, Jeff &
Barbara Thompson of Ft. Smith, AR; grandchildren, Katie Rodgers and Allie
Watson; several other close relatives & many friends.
Services will be 2
pm, Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Danny Kennedy officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland
Cemetery, Poteau.
The family will be
at the funeral home on Wednesday evening
from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
