Charles William Vineyard, 80, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 in Spiro, OK. Charles was born August 21, 1931 in Short Mountain, OK to Louie & Evie (Jones) Vineyard. He worked at Rheem. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dora Vineyard; and brothers, Murel & Johnny Vineyard.
Survivors include his 3 sons & daughter in law, Tom Vineyard, Willie Vineyard, Eric & Deana Vineyard all of Poteau, OK; 7 grandchildren, David & wife Julie Vineyard of Ft. Smith, AR, Sara Vineyard of Poteau, OK, Jason Vineyard, Jessica Vineyard of Ft. Smith, AR, Ericka Vineyard, Alyssa Vineyard, Jarrod Vineyard all of Poteau; 6 sisters & brother in law, Glenna Hinton of Poteau, Faye Brooks, Joye Anderson, Pasty & Bud Stout, Carol Kuykendall & Kay Bennett all of Spiro, OK; 2 brothers & sister in law, Roy & Elnora Vineyard of Panama, OK, Frank Vineyard of Emory, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday, December 12, 2011 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Phil McGehee officiating. Interment will be in Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore, OK. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom, Willie, Eric, David, Jason & Jarrod Vineyard.
