Dalton Ethan James

Dalton Ethan James, 28, of Poteau, OK was born March 12, 1992 in Poteau to Randal Glen & Shirley Ann (Tolley) James.   He earned his heavenly wings the morning of Saturday, September 5, 2020 in the most wonderful way – at home – sleeping next to his momma.  What a peaceful way to go!  Dalton had such a long and happy life.  He so enjoyed watching his Jungle Book, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Lion King, Return of Jafar, Disney’s Sing a Longs and The Price is Right tapes that his sweet Gran Gartner lovingly taped for him “without the commercials”; and last but not least Barney in Concert.  He loved to go riding and swimming in his pool.  He enjoyed his songs, Wheels on the Bus, Old McDonald, Itsy Bitsy Spider, The Pledge of Allegiance, Take Me Out to the Ballgame & The Lord’s Prayer.  Dalton could work any VCR and Older TV you put in front of him.  He loved playing with and pestering his brother, Austin.  We never got to hear him talk; I’m sure he’s talking their ears off now. LOL!   What a wonderful miracle I got to have in my life for 28 years.  That is something for being told we’d be doing good to have him 5 years.  He has touched so many lives and he was so loved and will be missed so dreadfully.  Thank you to everyone who has touched our lives and brought love, hope and compassion to us.  Please keep my family and all his loved ones in your prayers of strength, understanding and love.  God speed my Sweet Big Boy Dalton.  I’ll love you for all eternity! (Momma)
