Sharon Erlene Jacobs, 68, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 in Poteau. Sharon was born July 10, 1952 in Stella, MO to Gareth & Shirley Immogene (Dabbs) Kirk. She was an optician. Sharon was kind, loving and generous. She loved her family above herself. She spent her life loving and caring for those around her. She had a spark and glow that could not be compared. When she was in any room everyone felt cared about and welcome. She leaves behind a family that will miss her beyond measure. We know that she is now with her father & sons in heaven. Sharon was preceded in death by her father and sons, Shawn & Shanon.
Survivors include her husband, Steven L. Jacobs; daughter, April Granger of TX; daughter, Jerilyn Neal; grandsons, Ty’Oka Burris, Gabriel Neal all of Poteau, OK, Keegan Neal of Stillwater, OK; son & daughter in law Aden & Kelly Jacobs, granddaughter, Olivia Jacobs; grandson, Shawn Jacobs all of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandsons, Trenton & Trevor Jacobs; sister, Karen Martin & husband John of Columbia, SC; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Memorial services will be at a later date.

My mom was absolutely my superhero! Everyone who knew my mom will not be surprised by this but the last txt message that Sunday I got from her. Was " Go Chiefs" ( though we spoke that night n next day) she was a die hard Chiefs fan to the last game! I miss you momma!
