Paul spent some time in the army and after his return
had a daughter, Jo and a son, Pete. They made their home in Poteau. Paul was a long time banker with his father
Homer. He also was a real estate broker
for many years. Paul loved Poteau and the people who lived there. He was active in many organizations, some of
which were boy scout leader, Kiwanis member, PVIA water board member, and First
United Methodist Church finance board member.
Paul was an avid fisherman and hunter. He LOVED the outdoors. Our family benefited from this, as we had a
cabin and spent many happy days there enjoying the beautiful Black Fork
River. The one thing he might have
enjoyed more, besides Sue's cooking, and also shared with his family, were
season tickets to the OU football games for many years. What a Sooner Fan! Paul was a wonderful husband, father,
grandfather, and recently Great-Grandfather, and will be greatly missed. BOOMER SOONER DAD! Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Sue
C. Stottsberry and sister Patsy Mings.
