Jewell Caroldine Oglesby,
77, of Sallisaw, OK passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 in Ft. Smith,
AR. Jewell was born April 2, 1939 in
Sayre, OK to Albert Balwin & Edna (Jones) Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents;
brothers, Thomas Eugene Cox, Albert Cloyd Cox, Raymond Joe Cox; sisters, Joy
LaNell Cooper & Patsy Lucille Cox.
Survivors include her 4
sons, Allen Roy Harrison of Summerfield, OK, David Loyd Harrison of Panama, OK,
Roger Dale Harrison of Poteau, OK, Dennis Keith Harrison of Shady Point, OK; 4
daughters, Carol Lynn Carmack of Shady Point, OK, Merle Kay Martindale of Gans,
Ok, Trina Kay Inman of Ft. Smith, AR, LaShana Marie Cross of Gibson, IL;
numerous grandchildren ; great and great great grandchildren; brother, Eldon
Stanton Cox; her caregiver Brandi Majors of Sallisaw, OK; nieces, nephews and
friends.
Services will be 2 pm,
Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Evans
Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Troy Marino officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Point
Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy,
Daniel, Jeremy & Sherman Harrison, Joshua, Corey & Cyle Martindale.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives &
friends.
