John Dewayne Whitmore, 61, of Wister, OK passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 in Wister. John was born January 3, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK to Denver & Ellen (Covey) Whitmore. He was an electrician. John was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents & one sister.Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Andrea; sons, William & Ashley Whitmore, Joseph & Sam Whitmore all of Wister; grandchildren, Ashton Durant & Maddox Whitmore; brother Michael Whitmore of Okemah; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Memorial services will be 2 pm Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Ellis Chapel Church, Wister, OK.
