William Kendall Lynn, 39,
of Olathe, KS (formerly of Poteau, OK)
passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 in Olathe. Kendall was born in Poteau, OK on September
11, 1976 to Bill & Linda (Thompson) Lynn.
He was a Deputy US Marshall, a Captain in the Oklahoma National Guard
180th Infantry; he was a veteran of the
US Army serving in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Bosnia. He was a 1995 graduate of Poteau High School. Kendall was preceded in death by his father,
Bill Lynn.
Survivors include his wife,
Gwen of the home; his children, Christopher, Garrett & Gina; mother, Linda
Yarbrough and husband Ricci of Arkoma, OK;
brothers & sisters in law, Kelly & Molly Lynn; their children,
Sara, Kali & Presley of Norman, OK, Kyle & Mitzy Lynn; their children,
Kolton, Justyn & Ky of Poteau, OK; sisters & brother in law, Dana &
Greg Welton ; their children, Jacquie, Kaci and Drew of Poteau, OK; Aimee Lynn
of Oklahoma City, OK; brother in law, Jerry Pitchford & wife Kelli; their
children, Jace, Jett & Maci of Poteau; father in law & mother in law,
Bill & Lynne Pitchford of Heavener, OK; other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Cross Community Church in Poteau, OK with Ed Saucier officiating. Interment will
follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.
The family will be at the funeral home on Friday
evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends
