Winfred Burden,
75, of Poteau, OK passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in
Poteau. Winfred was born January 24,
1940 in Poteau, OK to Hans & Ella (Nation) Burden, who preceded him in
death. He was retired from Johnson
Control.
Survivors include his son
& daughter in law, Todd & Michele Peters of Poteau, OK; daughters, Donna
Kellogg & Paul Rees of Bokoshe, OK, Denna Carpenter & husband Bucky of
Greenbrier, AR; grandchildren, Lisa Minor, Leah Montgomery, Tara Johnson, Tori
Camp, Taya Kellogg, Hollie Meeks, Hallie Thompson, and Kylie Carpenter; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Burden
of Mustang, OK; sister, Carolyn Baetz of Poteau; other relatives, loved ones
and many friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Saturday, November 21, 2015 graveside at Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore, OK.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow. Winfred was a wonderful friend to my Father and I both and we always considered you and Winfred part of our family. He was a dear friend and his memory will live in my heart forever. I will always miss him. He was the greatest cowboy I ever knew.
