Mae Garland, 91, of Poteau,
OK passed away Friday, May 29,
2015 in Poteau. Zula was born October
21, 1923 in Vantress, OK to Sherman Tyler & Mae (Baxter)
Walden. She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Francis H. Garland; sisters, Lula & Beulah; brothers,
James, Farley, Willie, George & Stanley.
She
is survived by her sons & daughter in law, Steven Garland, Stanley &
Brenda Garland of Poteau, OK,
Christopher Garland of Ft. Gibson, OK; 5 grandchildren, Eric, Travis, Stanley,
Grant & Madison; 3 great grandchildren, Rocky, Steven & Eric; 1 great
great granddaughter; sister, Juanita Ward and brother Harvey Walden & wife
Martha all of LeFlore, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services
will be 2 pm, Monday, June 1, 2015 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland
Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Mike and Ronnie Ward,
Dewayne Walden, Harold Allison, Jim Tidwell and Duane Sykes.
