Jackie Mae Steel, 86,
of Wister,
OK passed away Thursday,
September 11, 2014 in Poteau. Jackie was
born April 5, 1928 in Swink,
OK to James & Ruby (Roland)
Woolery. She was retired from Pacific
Telephone. Jackie was a 50 year member
of the Order of the Eastern Star. She
was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Steel; daughter, Sharon
Gutierrez; and siblings, Truman Woolery and Iva Moody.
Survivors include her
daughter, Dona Schnaidt of Ft. Smith, AR; 2 grandchildren, Thomas Schnaidt of
Santa Cruz, CA, Dona Lynn Dodson of Brookings, OR; 4 great grandchildren,
Gabbrielle Settlemire, Danielle Dodson, Guinness Schnaidt-Van Meter, Saskia
Schnaidt Van Meter; 3 siblings, Clyde Ray Woolery of Gilmore, TX, Shirley
Holder of Poteau, OK, Cecil Woolery of Wister, OK; sister in law, Wilma Nell
Hyde of Roseburg, OR; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and
friends.
Services will be 11 am,
Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Valliant
Cemetery, Valliant, OK. Pallbearers will be Thomas Schnaidt, Cecil
Woolery, John Paul McAlester, Rodney Noble, Marty Cooper, Wayne Woolery.
