Nova Armstrong,
93, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 in Poteau. Nova was born January 6, 1920 in Belzoni, OK
to Robert Lee & Maudie (Goforth) Goodin.
Nova was a seamstress for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Armstrong; sons, Gary
& Clarence; 7 sisters, & 5 brothers.
Survivors include
her daughters & sons in law, Mary & Dale Barnes of Sallisaw, OK,
Ernestine & Floyd Morris of Poteau, OK; son, Don Armstrong of Poteau, OK;
sister, Ila Redifer; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; other relatives
& loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will
be 2 pm, Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Evans Chapel of Memories with Rev. Kevin
Womack & Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Interment will be at Springhill
Cemetery, Monroe, OK. Pallbearers
will be Bryan Morris, Steve Armstrong, Tyler Armstrong, Robbie Warren, Roger
Phelan, & Andy Milliken.

Though my heart is broken with the homegoing of Aunt Nova, I know she's dancing on those streets of gold. She truly was an elegant lady and a true example of a christian. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mary, Ernestine, Don and the rest of the family.
