Wanda Lee Smith

 Wanda Lee Smith, 90, of  Harrah, OK passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 on her birthday.  Wanda was born in Shady Point, OK to Ottis & Delia (Horton) Hamrick.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Ray Smith; her son, Jimmy; sister, Doris Haynes; brothers, Bill, Carl, Gary & James Hamrick.

Services will be 2 pm, Monday, January 28, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.

Visitation will be 2-4 pm, Sunday afternoon.

Jesse Ray Watts

 Jesse Ray Watts, 70, of Ft. Smith, AR passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Ft. Smith.  Jesse was born December 6, 1948 in Red Oak, OK to Richard Evert & Viola (Lovell) Watts.  He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers & 4 sisters.

          Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Bea; son, Roger Watts & wife, Cynthia; grandchildren, Adam & Justin Musgrove; 3 sisters, Mary Mangrum & husband Leon, Dollie Underwood & Faye Bryant; sister in law, Shirley Watts; special friends, Terry & Sandra Monks, John & Mollie Ridenhour; 14 nieces, 10 nephews; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be 10 am, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow at Milton Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Steve Underwood, David Moore, Rick Watts, Jason Watts, Daniel Monks, Roy Scroggins.  Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Musgrove, Adam Musgrove,  Bill Doyle, Jim Doyle, Jesse Moore, Richard Bryant & Brad Bryant.

          The family will be at the funeral home on  Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Bonnie Gregory

Bonnie Mae Gregory, 73, of Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Pocola, OK.  Bonnie was born February 12, 1945 in Poteau to Bill & Ollie Bell (Goodin) Kellogg. 

          She is survived by her husband, Conrad; sons & daughters in law, Lyndell & Melisa Gregory of Cedarville, AR, Dewayne & Lisa Gregory of  Ft. Smith, AR; daughters & sons in law, Cathy & Mitchell Ritter of Spiro, OK, Tonya & Stacey Cole  of Tuskahoma, OK; sister, Wanda & Phil James of Poteau, OK; brother, Jimmie Johnson of Greenwood, AR; numerous Grand & Great Grandchildren,  nieces and nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be 10 am, Friday January 25, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will follow in Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore, OK.

          The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

John L. Welch

                John Loren Welch, 81, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Poteau.  John was born November 29, 1937 in Poteau.  He was a Poteau Pirate and OU Sooner Fan.  He loved to hunt & fish.  He loved his four grandsons more than anything.  John was a Free Will Baptist.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie & Jim Welch; brother, James & sister, Carolyn Anderson.

          Survivors include his wife, Jo Welch of the home; children, Cynthia Jo & husband Brian Larkin of  Bokoshe, OK, John Richard & wife Tammy Welch of Hodgen, Tonia & husband Scott Phillips of Poteau; grandsons, Justus Welch, Jonathan House, Tyler Welch & Gene Welch.

          There will be no viewing and the service will be a private family one.
