Lucky Graham

Lucky George Graham, 64, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 in Poteau.  Lucky was born August 18, 1952 in Crane, TX to George Junior & Patricia Glenn (Phillips) Graham.  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; daughter, Shawna Jeanette Graham and brother Glen Graham.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa of the home; daughter & son in law, Heather Michelle (Graham) & Jose Chavez of Poteau; son, Michael Shane Barden of Midland, TX; grandchildren, Whitney (Chavez) & Mason Crenshaw, Derek Graham Chavez, Adaesha M. Chavez, Tanner Maria Chavez, Bella Grace Graham,  Reese, Sam & Mac Barden; great grandchildren, Boston Lane & Masie Crenshaw; siblings, Douglas E. Graham, Rexie McGuire, Pandy Vicic, Mary Sherron, Tony Graham, Sherry Gillett & Pete Gillett; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau.  Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK.  Pallbearers will be Tony Graham, Odis Slone, Chad Alphin, Jose Chavez, Derek Chavez, Mason Crenshaw, James Townley, Shane Barden.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Pollard , Tyler Guthrie & the CASC Baseball Vikings, J.D. Hanson.

The family will be at Days Inn Grand Room from 5-7 pm Tuesday evening to visit with relatives & friends.

Donald Andrew Langston

Donald Andrew Langston, 82, of Grove, OK passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Talihina, OK.  Donald was born November 29, 1934 in Depew, OK to William Robert & Ola Josephine (Hodge) Langston.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force.  Donald worked for Richmond Tank Car in paint and sandblasting.

Survivors include his sister, Freda Langston of Poteau, OK; brother, Delbert Langston of Vallejo, CA; 2 nieces; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Gisela Lavender

Gisela G. Lavender, 72, of Heavener, OK passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Heavener, OK.  Gisela was born May 25, 1944 in Munich, Germany.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lavender on January 30, 2006.

Survivors include her son & daughter in law -  Melvin & Maribeth Lavender of Arvada, CO; daughters & sons in law, Tammy & Mark Scott of Heavener, OK, Loretha & Tim Sconyers of Poteau, OK; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 6 brothers & 4 sisters in Germany.

Rosary services will be 6 pm, Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Poteau and Funeral Mass 10 am, Wednesday at the Catholic Church.

Gary Reiter

Gary Ray Reiter, 70, of Pocola, OK passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Fayetteville, AR.  Gary was born January 8, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK to Cleo Ira & Wanda Jean (Hinton) Reiter.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force.  Gary was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Wayne Reiter.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia of the home; children, Michelle Law & husband Larry Jr. of Dickson, TN, Christine Nolen of Pocola, OK; grandchildren, Olivia Lane, Isabella Lane, Samara Camyn; aunt, Norma Faye Strotcher; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 12 noon, Friday, February 3, 2017 at Fort Smith National Cemetery, Ft. Smith, AR.  with Marty Sloan officiating.
