Libby Fout

Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Fout, 69, of Shady Point, OK passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Fort Smith, AR.  Libby was born May 29, 1947 in Cameron, OK to Robert E.L. & Edna Marie (Painter) Pierce.  She was preceded in death by her parents and  a baby brother.

Survivors include her husband , Gearl Fout Sr. of the home; daughter, LaDonna Wiles & husband Mark of Shady Point, OK; sons, Gearl Fout Jr. & wife, Shaunta, Robert Fout of Shady Point, OK; grandchildren, Randy Wiles & Suni Dawn VeerKamp, Brandy Wiles & Matt Perry, Danielle & Abner Martin, Michelle Walden, Dominique Fout, Nichole Lively; 6 great grandchildren; aunts & uncles, Wanda Lamb of Shady Point, Dorene & C.D. Pierce of Greenwood, AR, Dot & Dennis Pierce of Alma, AR, Faye & Myran Chapple of Spiro, OK, Margie Pierce of Panama, OK, Una Pierce of Cameron, OK; tons of loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Ray Weaver & Rev. Steve Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK.  Pallbearers will be Gearl Fout, Lee Fout, Toney Fout, Chris Edwards, Jackie Harris, Howard Cagle.  Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Tiffin, Brian Thompson, Isaiah Thompson.

The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with friends and relatives.

Joseph Allen Hendon

Joseph Allen Hendon, 70, of Wister, OK passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 in Wister.  Joseph was born November 13, 1946 in Oklahoma City to Paul & Jean (Abbott) Hendon.  He was an airplane mechanic. 

 

Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home;  daughters, Jill, Jamie and Jerrica; sons, Joseph & Jacob; sister, Toni Ramsey & Brandi Mercer; brother, Pete Hendon; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Memorial services will be 10 am, Friday, December 9, 2016 at Ellis Chapel Church, Wister, OK with Rev. Don Martin officiating.

Mac "Pat" Balentine

Mac B. "Pat" Balentine, 95, of  Wister, OK passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 in Talihina, OK.  Pat was born November 12, 1921 in Howe, OK to William "Mac" & Amanda Balentine.  He was a  veteran of the US Navy where he was a welder, serving in WWII.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Balentine and brother, Floyd Balentine.

Survivors include his son, Billy Ray Balentine of Neosho, MO, Half-Brothers, Gerald Balentine of Wister  & David Balentine of Pinole, CA; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jack Covert officiating.  Interment will follow in Ellis  Chapel Cemetery, Wister.

The family will be at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-7 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Fleta Anderson

Fleta Faye Anderson, 90,  (formerly of Cameron, OK) passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Fleta was born September 29, 1926 in Liberty Hill, OK to Tom Pleasant & Gracie Pearl (Fox) Anderson.  She was preceded in death by her son, Cary Farrar; her parents; & sisters, Louise Dunlap & Mossie Farrar.

Survivors include her son, Danny Farrar of Springdale, AR; grandchildren, Tyler Farrar of Springdale, AR, Kimberly Waring of Ft. Smith, AR; great grandchildren, Brycen & Brooklyn Waring of Ft. Smith, AR, Fitzgerald Farrar of Springdale, AR sisters, Daisy Holt of Rogers, AR, Deanna Bernice Hurst of Poteau, OK; niece & nephews, Donna & Charles Hollingsworth, Larry Farrar; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Cameron, OK with Rev. Leonard Presley officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK.
