DAVID HILL

 

David Ray Hill, 59, of Edinburg, TX (formerly of Poteau, OK) passed away July 29, 2020 at his home.  David was born March 21, 1961 in Orange, CA to George B. Hill & Barbara Jo (Winsel) Duffy.  David was a respiratory therapist.  He worked at EOMC for 10 years and also he was an OTR Truck Driver.  David was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Raymond & Bessie Lee Winsel; Brice & Stella Hill.

          Survivors include his mother & step father, Barbara J. & Laurence E. Duffy, Jr.; brother & sister in law, Bob & Carla Hill of Wister, OK; niece Haily Hill of Pocola, OK; nephew, Bobby Hill & wife Abigail of Poteau; grand nieces, Alexandra Mae Hill & Charlotte Jo Hill of Poteau, OK; uncles & aunt, Paul & Mary McClure of Vian, OK;  Loren Sharp of Front Royal, VA; 1 daughter & grandson; numerous cousins; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Memorial service will be 1 pm, Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.   

Jerry Deleplank

           Jerry Allen Deleplank, 71, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home.  Jerry was born October 12, 1948 in Bokoshe, OK to Frank & Pearl (Blair) Deleplank.  He worked for the City of Poteau and was a veteran of the US Army.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob & Jim; sisters, Carmen Duncan, Virginia Boswell & Francis Loman; grandson, A.J. Martinez & granddaughter, Hanna Elmore.

          He is survived by his wife, Ramona; daughters, Erika  & Curtis Elmore of Poteau, Michael & Scott Walker of TX, Marlena & James Caldwell of Houston, TX, Carolyn Hughes of Shady Point, OK;  TX; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be held at a later date.

 

Freda Lee Adams

      Freda Lee (Connelly) Adams, 89, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Pocola, OK.  Freda was born May 19, 1931 in Hilltown/Cameron, OK to John Edward & Haley Levada (Carpenter) Connelly.  She was married to Raymond V. Adams on March 11, 1950.  He preceded her in death; as well as her daughter Connie Adams, son, Jimmy Adams & her parents.

          Survivors include her daughter, Ann Adams of Glenpool, OK; son & daughter in law, John & Angie Adams of Poteau, OK; grandsons, Eric James & wife Rachel, Kevin James & wife Nikke,  Jimmy Lee Adams; granddaughters, Sammi Adams & Lisa Adams; great grandchildren, Shelby James, Karter James, Sawyer Adams, & Connor James; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be 10 am Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, OK.          Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm.

Omer Seyler

   Omer Dee Seyler, 81, of Fanshawe, OK passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his home. Omer was born June 16, 1939 in Fanshawe to Charles Joseph & Novie (Bishop) Seyler.  He was a logger.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Louise Carney Seyler; his parents; baby son, Robert Seyler; brothers, Edward H. & Thirld Dean Seyler & Tony Corrillo; sisters, Vida Lee Seyler Dunn, Lura Vee Eissman.

          Omer is survived by 2 sons, Curtis Ray Seyler & Tracy Lynn Seyler of Fanshawe; 3 grandchildren, Dillan Seyler of Wister, Stephanie Seyler and Travis Seyler of Fanshawe; sisters, Peggy J. Lyons of Red Oak, OK, Mary Otterson & Barbara Jean Ryan  of Sparks, NV & Dorothy Mohawk of San Leandro, CA; sisters in law, Doris Box, Isabell Carney, Mary Lou Ellenburg all of Fanshawe, OK,  Patricia Standridge of Gautier, MS other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be 11 am, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the Fanshawe Cemetery Pavilion.

Wilma Easton

         Wilma Jean Easton, 92, of Cameron, OK passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020.  Wilma was born April 17, 1928 in to Henry & Olive (Pruitt) Campbell.  She was a department manager for Walmart.  Wilma was married to Levi for 67 years.  He was the love of her life.  There wasn’t a day went by, after he passed away, that she didn’t talk about her life with him.  She loved her family.  She always went to her grandkids activities; loved softball, baseball, football games and musical concerts.  Any programs her grandkids were in she was there.  She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord.  She would never say a harsh word about anyone.  Her family has a peace that she is in heaven with Jesus and walking the streets of gold with our Daddy.  Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Levi (9/22/2014).

          She is survived by daughters, Jan Carmack of Pocola, OK, Rhonda Fox & Ronnie of Cameron, OK, Sheila Brown & Jimmy of Poteau, OK; grandchildren, Kendra Maxwell & Jeremiah, Chad Fox & Sarah, Brooke Mason & Paul, Amy Adams & Kendall, Keith Vincent & Janie, Hannah Brown, Kenzi Brown; 11 great grandchildren, Maci, Jerran, Kenbri, Caden, Kylar, Caston, Kase, Kynli, Joel, Jenna & Liam; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

          Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at First United Methodist Church in Cameron.  Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron.  Pallbearers will be Chad Fox, Keith Vincent, Paul Mason, Jeremiah Maxwell,  Kendall Adams & Eric Ladd.
