Shirley Ann Petree


Shirley Ann Petree, 84, of Poteau, OK passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in Pocola, OK.  Shirley was born February 23, 1936 in Russellville, AR to Tom & Roxie (Bowden) Hale.  She was preceded in death by her parents & son, David Hendon.

Survivors include her daughters & son in law, Liesa & Dwayne Williams of Howe, OK, Donna Cobion of Sallisaw, OK; grandson, Tyler & Sabra Williams of Ronan, MT; granddaughters, Lindsey Gillmore of Wichita, KS & her 5 children; Marcie Robbins of Skiatook, OK & her 6 children; sister & brother in law, Nancy & Jerry Canerday of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Lewis Hale of Russellville, AR; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Graveside services will be held later a Bowden Cemetery, Russellville, AR.

Ralph Phillips


Ralph Leon Phillips, 72, of Poteau, OK passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Ralph was born January 22, 1948 in Milton, OK to Fred & Lucille (Walton) Phillips.  He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam.  Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren – Dylan Potter, Riley Potter and Brooklyn Deleplank; brother, Ray Phillips & sister, Linda Phillips Branscom.



Survivors include his wife of 49 years, 5 months, Mildred; children, Scott Phillips & Tonia of Poteau, Joanie Caudell of Wister, Jason “Booger” Phillips & Angie, Leslie  “Dasha” Maynor & Bruce all of Poteau, Tina Smith of Heavener, Charles Smith & Carolyn of Shady Point, Carla Branscom of Heavener;12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 adopted granddaughter, Summer Hendrix; brother, Fred Phillips Jr; sisters, Beulah Bright & Lavell Owens;  other relatives, loved ones and friends.



Services will be 3 pm, Friday, August 28, 2020 graveside at Milton Cemetery, Bokoshe, OK with Jackie Morton & Matt Stimac officiating.  Pallbearers will be Jason Phillips, Bryce Smith, Trajan Deleplank, Billy Deleplank, Jonathan House, Marco Meza.

The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Patricia Ann Gibson


          Patricia Ann (Shoup) Gibson, 75, of Cameron, OK passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in  Ft. Smith, AR.  Patricia was born December 22, 1944 in Williams, OK to Robert & Eunice Shoup.  She was a 1961 graduate of Cameron High School, a devoted wife of 47 years, loving mother, sports mother, caregiver and a wonderful Grannie.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jesse Gibson and brother, Robert Ray Shoup Sr.
          She is survived by one son, Craig Gibson & wife Misty of Greenwood, AR; one daughter, Renae Burks & husband C.J. of Shady Point, OK; six grandchildren, CeCe Gibson-Neissl, Brooke Brashear & husband Trevor, Justin Burks, Derreck Burks, Blake Gibson, Karson Burks; one great grandson, Ealynd Neissl along with numerous nieces and nephews.
          Funeral services will be 11 am, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and Ethan. The family will be at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

RICK ANDREWS


           Richard “Rick” Andrews, 70, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 in Ft. Smith, AR.  He was born on May 3, 1950, in Poteau, OK to Burl & Lavonne Andrews.  Rick was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired Poteau firefighter of 23 years, and he owned and operated Swiss Cleaners for 20 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Rick married Carolyn Johnson in 1974.  He was a loving husband, Dad, and Papa/Pockets.
        He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Andrews; two daughters, Kristin Andrews-Harrison & husband Michael Harrison of Poteau, Tracy Andrews-Payton & husband Jason Payton of Ft. Smith, AR; a son, Richard “Charlie” Andrews & Crystal Cox of Poteau; six grandchildren, Ethan & Zane Harrison of Poteau, Lexi & Kori Payton of Ft. Smith, Ellie & Olivia Andrews of Poteau; one sister, Carol & husband Donald Allen of Tulsa; other relatives, loved ones and friends. Per Rick's request - private services were held Wednesday, August 26 at Oakland Cemetery.

Phillip Don Thompson


Phillip Don Thompson, 81, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Phillip was born August 3, 1939 in Poteau to Truman C. & Edna Pauline (Henson) Thompson.  He was retired from Johnson Controls where he was an electrician.
Phillip was preceded in death by his sons, Steven B., Gary C.; brother, Paul.

Survivors include his sister, Twyla Bailey; brother, Gene Thompson; grandchildren, Bradley Thompson, Dustin Thompson; great grandchildren, Kaydence, Bentley, Beck, Mackenzie & Skyler Thompson; daughter in law, Vickie Thompson; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau with Bro. Keith Williams officiating.  Pallbearers will be Kaydence, Bentley, Beck, Mackenzie & Skyler.  The family will be at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives and friends.
