Charles "Moon" Sisco

Charles W. "Moon" Sisco, 85, of  Shady Point, OK  passed away Wednesday,   December  21, 2016 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Charles was born October 29, 1931 in Hodgen, OK to William D. & Mandy (Doyle)  Sisco.  Charles was a truck driver.  He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Dennis Sisco.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Mildred "Millie" Sisco; daughter, Joyce Pipkins of Panama, OK; grandchildren, Stacy Pipkins of Muldrow, Charla Collins of Panama, Angie Perkins of Hackett, AR; great grandchildren, Douglas & Ruger Collins of Gans, OK, Kaylynn Sisco of Hackett, AR, John & Mackenzie Ruben of Stilwell, OK; 8 stepchildren, Connie Blaylock, Dale Darneal, Sandra Hale of Panama, OK, David Hankins of Arkansas, George Hankins of Shady Point, OK, Debbie Shackelford of Cameron, OK, Prescilla Watts of Spiro, OK, Shawn Hankins of Portland, OR; numerous step grand and great grandchildren; stepbrother, Charles Flynn of Tulsa, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Visitation Friday, December 23, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial services will be 2 pm, Friday, December 30,  2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.   

Jewell Caroldine Oglesby

Jewell Caroldine Oglesby, 77, of Sallisaw, OK passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Jewell was born April 2, 1939 in Sayre, OK to Albert Balwin & Edna (Jones) Cox.   She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Thomas Eugene Cox, Albert Cloyd Cox, Raymond Joe Cox; sisters, Joy LaNell Cooper & Patsy Lucille Cox.

Survivors include her 4 sons, Allen Roy Harrison of Summerfield, OK, David Loyd Harrison of Panama, OK, Roger Dale Harrison of Poteau, OK, Dennis Keith Harrison of Shady Point, OK; 4 daughters, Carol Lynn Carmack of Shady Point, OK, Merle Kay Martindale of Gans, Ok, Trina Kay Inman of Ft. Smith, AR, LaShana Marie Cross of Gibson, IL; numerous grandchildren ; great and great great grandchildren; brother, Eldon Stanton Cox; her caregiver Brandi Majors of Sallisaw, OK; nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Thursday,  December 22, 2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Troy Marino officiating.  Interment will follow in Shady Point Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Timothy, Daniel, Jeremy & Sherman Harrison, Joshua, Corey & Cyle Martindale.

The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Lana Sue Faulk

Lana Sue Faulk, 44, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Poteau.  Lana was born July 21, 1972 in Springfield, MO to Elvin & Judith (Riggs) Applegate. Lana is survived by her husband, Burl Faulk;  an extended immediate family and a host of beloved friends.

Patricia Darneal

Patricia "Grandma Pat" Darneal, 75 of Panama, OK passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Patricia was born September 28, 1941 in Havaco, WV to Robert & Nora (Brewer) Orrison.  She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Panama for years where she kept the nursery before attending Solid Rock Church for the past couple of years.  Patricia worked for Lavaca Telephone Co. for 25 years.  She worked Panama Summer League for 30+ years.   She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Willie" Darneal; her parents; her sister, Laverne; brothers, John, Jackie, Joe Henry & Billy Orrison.

Survivors include her sons, Randy & Paula Darneal,  Shannon & Laura Darneal, Jamie & Tammy Darneal of Panama, OK; grandchildren, Amber, Keeton, Calli  Darneal of Panama, OK, Asha Darneal of Arkoma, OK, Aren & Tate Reitzel of Pocola, OK, Aubrey Darneal of Arkoma; great grandchildren, Lilah, Bianca, Archer Reitzel, Evie Parham; sister, Nella Mae Sampson of Sapulpa, OK; brother, Chesley Orrison of Kincaid, IL; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 11 am, Friday, December  16, 2016 at Solid Rock Church, Panama, OK with Rev. Brian Smith & Rev. Tim Painter.  Pallbearers will be Tommy DeWitt, C.J. Burks, Richard Cheely, Chris Gollihare, Bruce Barcheers, Jason Cloud.  Honorary pallbearers will be numerous children she baby sat.

The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

Vernon King

Vernon L. King, 53, of  Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, December 10 2016 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Vernon was born November 28, 1963 in Muskogee, OK to Harry T. & Mary Frances (Hyslop) King.  He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Frances Jones; his brother, Billy King.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Ward; daughter, Laraine Wilson of Poteau;  grandsons, Jacob Hudlow of Shady Point, OK, Damien Amen of Booneville, AR, Cornelio Hernandez of Heavener, OK, Nelson Lopez of Shady Point, OK;  stepson, Josh Ward & his children, Cashlyn Ward & Kyan Ward of Stigler, OK;  brother, Harvey King; niece, Jennifer Perez & great niece, Flor De Maria Perez  of Poteau, OK.

Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK. Burial will follow in Perry Cemetery, Keota, OK

Glen Dale Branscum

Glen Dale Branscum, 74, of Wister, OK passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Glenpool, OK.  Glen was born December 30, 1941 in Big Cedar, OK to James Lewis & Allie Elizabeth (Roberts) Branscum. He attended school at Muse, Heavener & Wister, OK.  He graduated high school &  married the love of his life Pollie  Ellouise Midgley on May 20, 1960.  They were  members & attended the Church of God 7th Day at Tulsa & Wister.  Glen achieved the office of "Master Mason"  in the Masonic Blue Lodge in Tulsa, OK.  Glen loved life and never met a stranger.  He lived for the Lord; always had a smile.   He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; two brothers & four sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Pollie; daughters, Robbie Day of Broken Arrow, OK, Levonia Brown & husband Sam of Whitesboro, OK; two granddaughters, Toni & husband Chad Fairchilds,  Audria & husband Cody Poor; three great grandchildren, Madison & Kye Fairchilds & Brooks Poor; two sisters, nieces, nephew, cousins and numerous friends.

Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, December 13,  2016 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK .  Interment will follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK.  Pallbearers will be Bud Morgan, Cliff Morgan, Leon Midgley, Chick Midgley, Fred Midgley, Sam Brown, Cody Poor, Chad Fairchilds.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Glen's name to "The Church of God 7th Day" in Wister, OK or to the Ellis Chapel Cemetery Fund.
