I would like to give my sympathies to the friends and family of Catherine. I myself know how hard it can be to cope when someone you love is suddenly gone. Something that really helped me was the promise made in the Bible at -Rev 21:4 “He will wipe out every tear from there eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. Here God promises us that soon death will be no more. He even went so far as to say there wouldn’t be anymore tears because we won’t need them! Isn’t that a wonderful hope? God also gives us the hope that we will be able to see our dead loved ones again. We can find that promise at -Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous”. There will be a resurrection of those we love and we will be able to live in peaceful conditions as seen in Revelation. I hope that these promises will bring you a small measure of comfort because we know that God has kept his promises in the past and he will keep them in the future. If you would like to know more about this resurrection hope please feel free to contact me or go to -Jw.org-
Sincerely Katy.
