Carolyn Sue Crossland

         Carolyn Sue Crossland, 71, of Poteau, OK passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at her home.  Carolyn was born January 2, 1949 in Heavener, OK to Homer & Veda (Mattox) Knight.  She was a welding instructor and a truck driver.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles, Vernard & wife Alice, & Homer Knight Jr.; sister, Kathleen Courville; and great great granddaughter, Summer Faith McKinney.

            Survivors include her husband, Larry Crossland; children, Michael & Yvonne Crossland of Poteau, OK, Lisa & Nathan Williams, Melody Peterson of Sand Springs, OK, Lisa & Bobby Whittaker, Larry & Marsha Crossland of Spiro, OK, Shari Spear of Poteau, Deborah Schaap of Arkoma, Mark & Laranda Crossland of Ft. Smith, AR, David & Tonya Crossland of Owasso, OK, Trish Gossett of Bokoshe, OK; sister, Sharon Walker  & Joe of Venus, TX; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

           Services will be 10 am, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Covenant Church, Poteau, OK with Nicholas Hess and Clyde Hess officiating.  Burial will be at Howe Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Nicholas & Joshua Bryant, Jesse Brasier, Shawn Knight, David Crossland and Randall Courville.
