Charles Joseph Brown, Jr,
64, of Ft. Smith, AR passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Ft.
Smith, AR. Charles was born October 24,
1955 to Charles Sr. & Mary (Meeks) Brown.
He was a union carpenter, a Mason, and member of the Lions Club and a
carpentry instructor. He was preceded in
death by his parents & son, Zachary Brown.
Survivors include his
children, Joe & Lindsey Brown and
Lacee & Derek Elmore; grandchildren, Kaylee Brown, Dayson & Daxton
Elmore; brother, Steven Brown; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 10 am,
Monday, January 20, 2020 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Jim Cook
officiating. Interment will follow at
Monroe Cemetery, Monroe, OK. Pallbearers
will be Cody, Donnie, Tyler, Wesley & DeWayne Reed, Chuck Lavery and Derek
Elmore.
The family will be at the
funeral home on Sunday from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
