Scotty Price, life story
Scotty Price lived life in the fast lane. He had a zest for life, fun, and adventure that not many possess. He thought he was invincible, and so did we. Scotty did nothing half way, he gave his whole heart and 110% in every aspect of his life, especially loving his family. He would always say “if you’re going to do something, you might as well do it right the first time”. Scotty was an incredibly proud husband, Dad, brother, American, and Christian. He was proud to be a Price. He was proud to be in the oil & gas industry for the last 38 years, where he left an impact and lasting impression on every location, platform, and with every hand from Texas to Canada and Brazil.
Scotty was funny, incredibly intelligent, full of common sense and wit. He loved crappie fishing, burning rubber, and the smell of gun powder. He loved Andy Griffith, anything with Clint Eastwood or John Wayne, playing guitar, and he appreciated talent and loved music ranging from Willie Nelson, to Boston, to gospel hymns. Scotty had a very special bond with his grandmother, Evelyn, aka Mammaw Price, and the family takes comfort in knowing he is in Heaven with her today. Scotty was known for his booming laugh, big dimples, and the most incredible hugs that made you feel wrapped (sometimes trapped) in love.
The family, friends, and world of Scotty Price will not be the same without him, because just like everything else, he was never just present, he was actively loving, teaching, or involved, so his absence will be felt in a grand way, and it couldn’t be a little hole or break in our hearts, it had to be the biggest one possible.
Sorry for your loss prayers for the family 🙏🙏
