Klancy "Newt" Hodge

    

Klancy Alan “Newt” Hodge, 14, of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Newt was born October 16, 2006 in Ft. Smith, AR to Joe & Brandie (Chappell) Hodge.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jennings & Ella Mae Hodge; papa, Joe Hodge; Nanie Cookie & Papa Leon Owens; great grandparents, Tom & Maedale Bates, Doil & Faye Johnson, Maurice Patterson; great great grandparents, Charles Short, Thurman Hudson and Jess Chappell.

 Survivors include his parents, Joe & Brandie; brothers & sisters, Kalli Cox & husband Tyler, Kody Hodge & wife Desiree, Kasey Hodge & girlfriend Julie Dunn, twin sister-Kenlee Hodge; nieces, Peapie Hodge, Savannah & Sierra Cox, Josie Gray; nephew, Dalton Carter; grandparents, Gene & Donna Johnson, Perry Chappell, Boyd & Cyndy Farmer; great grandmother, Peggy Hudson; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

 Services will be 10 am, Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Springhill Baptist Church, Monroe, OK with Kirby Vaughn & George Crumley officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Hackett, AR.  The family will be at the funeral home in Poteau on Friday from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
