Ernest James Johnson

 Ernest James Johnson was born February 2, 1926 in Poteau, OK to Lemuel Otha Johnson & Emma Lucinda Caroline (White) Johnson.  Ernest passed from this life on November 20, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his dad Lemuel & his mother Emma, his son Michael Ray Johnson, 3 brothers, 7 sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

           He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margetta Rosa Casey Johnson of the home; two sons, Ernest “Ernie” James Johnson Jr. and wife Patricia of Edmond, OK, Gary Wayne Johnson and wife Robyn of Tulsa, OK; one daughter in law, Janet Sue (Wilson) Johnson of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Orville Bazal Johnson and wife Margaret of Oklahoma City, OK; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

           Services - 10 am, Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Guy Marley officiating.  Interment will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Joel Meanor, Chris Shrock, Dennis Taylor, Trevor Meanor and William Pearm.
