Jimmy Oscar Getz, 58 of
Branson, MO (formerly of Poteau, OK) passed away August 7, 2019 in
Branson. Jimmy was born September 18,
1960 in Poteau to Wayne & Patsy Bottoms.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry Getz; nephew,
Scotty Stanley; uncles & cousins.
Survivors include his wife,
Mona of the home; children, Heath Allen, Kelly Renee, Austin Dale, Whitney
& husband Allan of Springfield, MO, Chad & wife Alicia of Iowa;
grandson, Bo Allen; brother, Danny Getz of Pocola, OK, Paul “Jr” & wife
Mary Ann Getz of Ft. Smith, AR; sisters,
Susan Fox & husband Jerald of Shady Point, OK, Dana “Kay” & husband Ed
House of Poteau; several nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles; his dog “Sam” .
Memorial services will be 1
pm, Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Jim
Cook officiating.
