Billy Lee “Chipper” Klutts, 67, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday,
August 16, 2019 in Poteau. Chipper was
born October 30, 1951 in Poteau, OK to Benny Lee & Rosella C. (Salina)
Klutts. He was a 1969 graduate of
Poteau High School. He was a heavy
equipment operator, truck driver, oil field fire fighter and race car
driver. He logged many miles across our
great nation and made many friends.
Everyone knew him as “Bartender”.
When he was home he enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and NHRA Drag Racing. Chipper was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sons,
Jake Klutts of Van Buren, AR, Chad Klutts & wife, Ashley of Ringling, OK brothers,
Dusty Klutts, Kurt & Suzanne Klutts of Poteau, OK; sisters, Shaun & Ted
Kondos of Poteau, OK, Shala Jo Klutts of Ft. Smith, AR; grandchildren, Reagan &
Addison; many nephews, nieces, cousins & friends.
Memorial services will
be 10 am, Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in
Evans Chapel of Memories. Interment will
be in Ft. Smith National Cemetery at 1 pm.
