Dee Kilgore, age 69, died
Friday, February 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in
Cameron, Oklahoma to Willie L. and Grace Ellen (Gipson) Davis on September 12,
1947. Dee was always active, she worked at Siemens in Dallas from November of
1994 until her death, previously to that she worked for Johnson Controls for 22
years, from 1971 through 1993. She was a member of Eastern Star Lodge in Poteau Oklahoma. Dee was very active with Happy Hills Farm
Charity in Dallas, longtime member of The National Association of Women
in Construction, an active member of Associated General Contractors of America,
Associated Builders and Contractors, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating
and Air-Conditioning Engineers. She was an active part of many things, but was
also known as an avid reader and above all a professional Nana to many. Left to
cherish her memory is her daughter Stephanie Worley and husband Pete of Owasso,
OK; brother Art Davis and wife Marti of Holton, KS; grandchildren Colby Lowers
and wife Courtney of Central City, AR, Amber Lowers of Owasso, OK and Amelia
Call and husband James of Monroe, NY; great grandchildren Hayze and Rhye
Lowers, and Trey and Nicki Call; and Marvin Cox of Sherman, TX. Dee was preceded in death by her parents and
six brothers and sisters.
There will be visitation
from 6-8 pm Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Evans & Miller Funeral
Home, Poteau. Services will be 1 pm
Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Evans Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau.
