Howard
Jean Davisson, 91, of Poteau,
OK passed away Tuesday, August
27, 2013 in Poteau. Howard was born
October 5, 1921 in Elwood, KS to Leslie & Maude (Nolan)
Davisson. He was a master
machinist. Howard was a veteran of the
US Navy. He was preceded in death by his
parents; daughter, Betty Solovich; son, Leslie “Butch” Davisson; 3 sisters
& 3 brothers. Howard loved fishing,
woodworking, boating and going for a drive with Deloris. He also enjoyed remote control model planes.
Survivors
include his wife of 20 years, Deloris of the home; daughters, Linda Jean Garcia
of CA and Patsy Ivens of Livermore,
CA; 6 grandchildren; 12 great
grandchildren; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services
will be 2 pm Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook and Charlie Horsley officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery,
Poteau.
