Mary Elizabeth Brookfelt, 78, of Wister, OK
passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Poteau. Mary was born February 4, 1934 in Wister, OK to Elmer E.
& Selma D. (Shelton)
Beason. She was a homemaker. Mary was preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Ronald Lee Brookfelt; sister, Geneva
Armstrong & Jeanie Williams; brothers, Joe & Jack Beason.
Survivors include daughter, Selma
Shirlene McGhee of Subiaco, AR; sons, Kenneth Wayne Brookfelt and Edward Lee Roy Brookfelt of Wister, OK; 3
grandchildren, Kimberly Anderson of Ft. Smith, AR, Brandi Brookfelt of
Arlington, TX, Sarah Brookfelt of Tulsa, OK; 6 great grandchildren, Morgan,
Taylor, Desiree, Dakota, Tristan, & Devin; numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives and loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday,
January 21, 2013 graveside at Wister City Cemetery,
Wister, OK
with Rev. Jack Covey officiating. Interment
will follow.
The family will be at the funeral
home from 2-4 pm, Sunday afternoon to visit with relatives & friends.
