Bonnie Sue Green, 98, of Panama, OK passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 in Pocola. Bonnie was born June 8, 1913 in Calhoun, OK to Robert Lee & Mattie (Irvin) Cheely. She was a housewife. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Norman Green on March 20, 1984(former Mayor of Panama, OK); sisters, Pearlie Brock and Myrtle Jordan; brother & sister in law, James Dewey & Lucille Cheely. Survivors include her daughters & sons in law, Vivian & Robert Stankewitz of Panama, OK, Verna Lee & Robert Morgan of Chino, CA; 8 Grandchildren, Vickie Ignaut of Rocklin, CA, Susan Snapp of Chino, CA, Randy Morgan of Delanto, CA, Virginia Porter of Upland, CA, Landis & Carol Stankewitz of Panama, OK, Tanya Summer of Greenwood, AR, Anthony Stankewitz of Panama, OK, Shay & Jerry Stankewitz of Poteau, OK; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Baxter of Shady Point, OK; nephews, Gary Don Baxter of Monroe, OK, Warner Lee Baxter of Poteau, OK; niece, Euphia Gaye Beck of Shady Point, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services will be 10 am. Wednesday, Nay 30, 2012 at the Panama Assembly of God Church with Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
