Maria Smith, 48, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 in Poteau. Maria was born March 24, 1973 in Queretaro, Mexico to Donaciano Zaleta Mendez & Esperanza Lopez Arteaga. She worked at the Catholic school. Her family returned her remains to Mexico.
