Velma Mae Caldwell

 

Funeral Service for Velma Mae Caldwell, 84 of Bokoshe, Oklahoma will be at 10am on Friday, June 17, 2022 at First Baptist Church  in Bokoshe, Oklahoma  with with Michael Monroe, and Sam Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery in Milton, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.

Velma was born on November 2, 1937 in Hon, Arkansas to Hazel Fields (Newman) and Allen Fields and passed away on June 13, 2022 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Caldwell; son, Billy Don Caldwell; sisters, Mona Louise Jackson, Lorretta Aple, Lanel Vincent.

Survivors include: daughters, Lizabeth Louise Lindenau, Hazel Marie Gillion, Marilyn Lorraine Pierson and husband Tim, Carla Casey; sons, Bruce Edward Caldwell, Robert Ray Caldwell and Spouse Allen Turner, Michael Emery; brothers, Tommy Fields, Bobby Fields and wife Joey; 12 grandchildren, Keith Pierson, Kyle Pierson, Krysten Pierson, Billy Caldwell, Greg Gillion, Josh Gillion, Kayla Autrey, Megan Gibson, Josh Ralls, Ryan Ralls, Earl Caldwell, April Walker; numerous great grandkids, nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Keith Pierson, Kyle Pierson, Allen Turner, Josh Ralls, Earl Caldwell, Ryan Ralls.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Autrey, Tim Pierson, Dakota Autrey.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8pm.

The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, OK
