Willette June Turner, 79, of Panama, OK passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Poteau. June was born September 6, 1942 in Poteau to Bethel & Faye (Boyd) Bates. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Turner; daughter, Linda Turner; sisters, Dena Smith, Reba Fitzpatrick.
Survivors include her sons, Charles Turner, Gary Turner & Michael Brown; grandchildren, Crystal Carshall, Michael Bailey, Joshua Turner; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Henderson, Kiara Henderson, Dylan Bailey; sisters, Estella Tayrien, Rachel Taapken; brothers, Paul Boyd & Bethel Bates; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Lynn Bullard officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 pm.
