Ronald Dewayne Edwards, 66, of Monroe, OK passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Ft. Smith, AR. Ronald was born July 15, 1955 in Cameron, OK to Laurene Edwards. He was a contractor for years building many homes in LeFlore County. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, George Hilderbrand; grandson, Dryer Alan.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Caren; daughters, Joy Edwards and Siobhan Edwards of Monroe, OK; 3 sisters & their spouses, Kathleen & Jackie Linville, of Heavener, OK, Judy & Ken Downs of Muldrow, OK, Opal Hilderbrand of Poteau, OK; brothers & his spouse, Jim Sherry Hilderbrand of Poteau; granddaughter, Stephanie Aguinaga of Paris, TX; grandsons, Brian Montgomery of Paris, TX, Gunner Benefield of Monroe, OK; 3 great grandchildren; a host of friends and loved ones.
Memorial services - 2 pm, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Monroe Cemetery Pavilion, Monroe, Oklahoma with Rev. Michael Davidson officiating.
