Sammy P. Flanary, 74, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at his home. Sammy was born February 13, 1947 in Poteau to Virgil & Esther Lee (Ford) Flanary. He was a florist; designing many parties and weddings. Sammy was preceded in death by his parents; as well as Juanita Salsman, Bonita Walters, Lydia Sexton, Lottie Clark, Imogene Vise, Jack Flanary, Charlie Flanary and Dave Flanary.
He is survived by sister & brother in law, Dorothea & Gary Wade; brother & sister in law, Bill & Louise Flanary; niece, Georgia Taylor; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Memorial services - 10 am, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Green Country Cowboy Church. 23980 Kerr Mansion Rd, Poteau, OK with David Flanary officiating. Sammy’s remains will be buried with his father at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau
