Coye McCage Jr.


Coye McCage Jr., 66, of Cameron, OK passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home.  Coye was born April 10, 1955 in Bokoshe, OK. He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Martha Odell McCage; his father, Coye Sr. & brother, James Harlan McCage.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Ruth; sons, Jerry Horn of Cameron, James & Jessica Burks of Panama, Charles & Renae Burks of Shady Point; daughters, Jennifer Davies of Cameron, Kelly & Chad Dyer of Panama,  Kelly & Thomas Brown of Shady Point; mother, Lucille McCage of Panama; brothers, Russell & Brenda McCage of Panama, Tim & Virginia McCage of Spiro, James & Danielle McCage of Coweta; sisters, Dian & Charles Ketter, Brenda & Mike Metcalf all of Charleston, AR, Sandra & Richard Taylor of Dardanelle, AR, Martie & Jerry Southerland of Pocola, OK; grandchildren, Stephanie & Taylor Cox, Tristan Horn, Faith Shadwick, Jammy, Ethan, Alexis &  Bo Burks, Justin, Derreck & Karson Burks, Jesse Horn, Jaiden & Jentry Davies, T.J., Kelsey & Michael Brown, Brook, Schandon, Lenzie Dyer & her fiancé, Sam; great grandchildren, James, Ryker, Gracie, Raelynn, Kenzli & Eliotte; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK.  Pallbearers will be Joe Dotson, Virgil Dotson, Thomas Dotson, Leon Laymon, Farral Hall, Danny Blaylock.  Honorary pallbearers will be Collin Womack, Dearl Laymon, George Dominguez, Taylor Cox, Carson Womack, Troy Halpain.

 The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
