Services for Jack Rogers will be 10 am, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Covenant Church, Poteau, OK with Keith Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Monroe Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
Jack L. Rogers, 79, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at his home. Jack was born June 5, 1941 in Vinita, OK to Robert Mitchell & Lois (Ledbetter) Rogers. He was a 25 year veteran of the US Army and retired from the Oklahoma National Guard. Jack worked at Whirlpool for 41 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy Rogers, Bill, Fred, & Gene Loftis; mother & father in law, Carl & Opal Hicks; grandsons, Daryl Wayne “DJ” Anderson & Lincoln Turner.
Survivors include his wife, Opal DeLois “Dee” (Hicks) Rogers of the home; daughters & sons in law, Becky & Daryl Anderson of Poteau, Gina & Rob Wylie of Howe, OK, Rhonda & Jason Fiser of Poteau, OK; son & daughter in law Rob & Erica Rogers of Celina, TX; nephew, Kevin Rogers of Poteau, OK; grandchildren, April & Dwain Caughern, Lindsey Anderson, Caleb & Linzy Wylie, Caitlyn Wylie, Crystal Faith Wylie, Camryn Rogers, Eric Parker, Evan Rogers, Luke Fiser; great grandchildren, Kylie Turner, Paeton Anderson, Preslie House, Allie Anderson, Madison & Brooke Flores, Bailey Caughern & Kyle Edwards, Justus Jackson Wylie; great great grandchildren, Holt Flores and Aspen Edwards; other relatives, loved ones and friends. Pallbearers will be Daryl Anderson, Rob Wylie, Jason Fiser, Dwain Caughern, Caleb Wylie, Eric Parker, Evan Rogers, Luke Fiser.
