Eugene Butler

       Eugene Lowell Butler, 18, of Panama, OK passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020.  Eugene was born February 10, 2002 to Brandon Lowell Butler & Cristie (Statham) Johnson.  He loved to hunt and fish.  Most of the time his head was under the hood of a vehicle somewhere.  You could always count on him to help out whether it was construction or cutting wood.  He was more experienced in life than men twice his age.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents,  Debbie & Pete Waddle, Bobby Butler; and uncle Eric Thomas.

           Survivors include his parents, Brandon Butler & Niki Hope, Cristie Johnson & Kevin Smittle; grandmother, Pam McMillin; brothers, Christopher Butler, Nikita “Dinky” Beshirs; uncles, Brent Butler & Charley Thomas; Brittany Dill "Aunt Sissy"; sisters, Destiny Fout & Harley Fout; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

           Services will be 10 am, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Dale Lowrimore officiating.  Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro.  Pallbearers will be Jared Foster, Jerry Hopkin, Ayden Jennings, Charles Burks, Canon Shoup, Jacob Enhoff.   Honorary pallbearers will be Birdie, Brandon Herrington, Kevin Smittle, Brandon Earley, Casey Dill & Christopher Butler.  The family will be at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
