Steve Ray Humphries

Steve Ray Humphries, 60, of Cameron, OK passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Ft. Smith, AR.  Steve was born January 8, 1959 in Poteau, OK to Everett Ray & Wilma Faye (Ritter) Humphries.  He was a lab tech at Baldor from September 23, 1994 until his retirement July 16, 2015.    Steve graduated from Poteau High School in 1977, Carl Albert State College in 1981, Northeastern State University in 1991 with a BA in Business Admin.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his brothers, Jessie L. Humphries of Monroe, OK and Richard Humphries of Norman, OK; his aunts, Jenny Hill of Howe, OK & Shirley Reese of Monroe, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau with Rev. Shirley Soto officiating.  Interment will follow at Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore.  Pallbearers will be Sy Nguyen, Don Kinser, Keith Willis, Donnie Harbor, Cornell Reese, Ronnie Humphries.  Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Wayne Anderson and Dave Mathis.
