Floye Opal Oliver, 88, of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, April 5, 2019
in Poteau. Floye was born June 4, 1930,
in Wister, OK to Faney & Julia (Roberts) Finley. She was preceded in death by her husbands,
Dudley Swinney & Marvin J. Oliver; and son, Troy L. Sterling; and her
parents.
Survivors include her daughters,
Phyllis Hughes of McAlester, Lorrie Ann Winters & Karen Sue Montgomery of
Poteau, OK; son, Charles R. Swinney of Heavener, OK; numerous grandchildren
& great grandchildren; 2 nieces & 1 nephew from the Guthrie, OK area;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Wednesday,
April 10, 2019 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Rev. Jim Cook
officiating. Interment will follow at Glendale/Mt.View Cemetery, Wister,
OK. Pallbearers will be William LeFlore,
Mason Hughes, Jaylon Hughes, Billy Hughes, Steven Knight, Edward Amos.
The family will be at the funeral home
on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.

ReplyDeleteI used to take care of this sweet little lady when she was in the nursing home in Hartshorne. Oklahoma. Prayers for her & the family. She was the sweetest. God gained an angel definitely.
