Warren Harwell Wann, 97,
of Poteau, OK passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in Poteau. Warren was born October 31, 1921 in
Booneville, AR to Omer & Esther (Harwell) Wann. He was a veteran of the US Army. Warren has been a local celebrity with his
recounting of military life and his service in the Army published in local
newspapers. He worked in Winters, CA as the Building
Inspector, Public Works Director and
cement finisher. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Gloria Alene Wann & daughter, Kathryn Lawrence.
Survivors include his sons, Jim Hamner of Williams, CA,
Philip Hamner of Kingston, OK; daughters, Joyce Lowrie of Las Cruces, NM, Linda
Hennagin of Dixon, CA; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; other
relatives & loved ones.
Family will services will be held later in California
